Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to extend the benefits conferred under G.O.Ms.Nos.272 and 273 dated 15.6.98 to the petitioners by counting the entire dearness allowances drawn by the petitioner as dearness pay and consequently revise the pension and other terminal benefits payable to the petitioner.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to extend the benefits conferred under G.O.Ms.Nos.272 and 273 dated 15.6.98 to the petitioners by counting the entire dearness allowances drawn by the petitioner as dearness pay and consequently revise the pension and other terminal benefits payable to the petitioner.

2. In the earlier occasion i.e, on 10.11.2020 there is no representation for the petitioner and therefore the matter was directed to be listed today. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the benefits conferred under G.O.Ms.Nos.272 and 273 dated 15.6.98 have already been extended to the petitioners and therefore nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
