Ms.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to give permission to conduct the cultural programme on 16.8.2018 in the event of Sri Mariamman Thirukoil of Chinnathoppu, Old Dharmapuri Post, Dharmapuri District based on the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2018.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that in spite of the representation being given to the second respondent on 06.08.2018 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 16.08.2018, the second respondent has not passed orders till today.
4. A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD). No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017, in similar circumstances, directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.
5. Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2018 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 14.08.2018.
With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
