Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to register and release the documents bearing No. P 321/07 on the file of the 1st respondent by accepting the stamp duty paid in on the guideline value prevailing as on 31.7.2007 being the date of execution of the document pending without insisting for a differential stamp duty on the guideline value which came into effect on 1.8.2007 if it is otherwise in accordance with law.

The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents would submit that the documents presented by the petitioner were registered and the entire stamp duty has been collected from the petitioner and thereafter, the documents were returned to the parties.

3. In light of the above above submissions and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
