The Writ Petition has been filed, challenging the correctness of the 1st respondent order in NADA NA.KA4012/2006/A46 dated 05.06.2009, thereby appointing the Executive Officer of Arulmigu Mariammal Vinayagar Tirukoil, Pitchampalayam, Tirupur Taluk, Tirupur District, the 2nd respondent herein as a fit person to perform the daily poojas etc., and to quash the same.

After 10 years from the date of filing of the Writ Petition, when the matter was taken up , this Court has granted 3 adjournments, on 14.02.2019, 01.03.2019 and 15.03.2019. Since on 15.3.2019, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner, the same was ordered to be listed today under the caption, ''for dismissal''. Therefore, this Court is of the view that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the matter further. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for default. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
