PRAYER:
Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for records of the second respondent in Na.Ka.1623A2/07 dated 1.11.2007 quash the same and direct the respondents 1 to 3 for inclusion of the petitioner's name in the selection panel for consideration to the post of Headmistress of Middle School established within the jurisdiction of the second respondent in Cuddalore District and direct them for appointment of the petitioner as the Headmistress of the Middle school with consequent seniority and increase in emoluments.

O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order of the second respondent in Na.Ka.1623A2/07 dated 01.11.2007, quash the same and direct the respondents 1 to 3 for inclusion of the petitioner's name in the selection panel for consideration to the post of Headmistress of Middle School established within the jurisdiction of the second respondent in
Cuddalore District and direct them for appointment of the petitioner as the Headmistress of the Middle school with consequent seniority and increase in emoluments.
2. When the matter was taken up on 10.11.2020, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner's counsel is no more and hence Registry was directed to issue notice to the petitioner and also to delete the name of the counsel for the petitioner from the cause list and the matter was directed to be listed today. Even today none appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
3. The learned Government Advocate would submit that after filing of this writ petition, the petitioner got promoted in the year 2009 itself and therefore nothing survives for adjudication. In support of his contention, he has also produced the copy of the proceedings of the second respondent dated 10.10.2009.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate and also the proceedings dated 10.10.2009, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
