Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass order upon the applications dated 03.10.2024 and 11.11.2024 to issue certified copies of the documents relating to Field Measurement Book (FMB), Permanent Land Register (PLR) and "A" Register of S.No.19, 19/0, 19/1 situated at Urur Town, Velacherry Taluk, Chennai District, pending on the file of the respondents within a 1/5
reasonable time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to issue a mandamus to the respondents since the applications submitted by the petitioner on 03.10.2024 and 11.11.2024, has not been acted upon by the respondents.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property in S.No.19, 19/0, 19/1 situated at Urur Town, Velacherry Taluk, Chennai District is a Government Poromboke land and that execution proceedings are pending in E.P.No.1036 on the file of XV Small Causes Court, Chennai. To defend the case pending before the Execution Court, the petitioner needs the certified copies of FMB, PLR and "A" Register, which he is unable to download from the 2/5
Government website. Therefore, the petitioner approached the second respondent as early as on 03.10.2024. Since the said representation did not evoke any response, he thereafter made applications to the first respondent on 03.10.2024 and 11.11.2024, and the same is kept pending till date. Hence, the petitioner is now before this Court seeking a directions to the respondents herein to provide the aforesaid copies.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a mandamus is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's applications dated 03.10.2024 and 11.11.2024, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the writ petition is allowed. No costs.
