O R D E R
The petitioners are aggrieved against the order of the fourth respondent dated 28.12.2018 and consequently, seek a direction to the first & second respondents to appoint a Special Officer to conduct the festival viz., Aani Moola Ther Thiruvizha in the Tamil month of Aani by ensuring equal participation and involvement of all the communities in the temple called A/m.Sozheeswarar, Alagarayar Perumal and Sellandiamman Temple situated at Mallasamudhram Village, Thiruchengode Taluk,
2. It is seen that during the pendency of this writ petition, the subject matter festival has been conducted from 11.02.2019 to 19.02.2019 i.e., today.
3. Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the HR & CE Department, submitted that the festival was conducted peacefully and all the parties including the petitioners have participated therein.
4. Mr.V.Srikanth, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that he is not aware of the participation of the petitioners.
5. In any event, as the festival itself is over by today, I do not think that anything survives to be considered on merits in this writ petition filed against the impugned order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
