This Contempt Petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order dated 30.07.2024 passed by this Court in Crl.RC.No.1684 of 2023.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that, the respondent has been paying the monthly maintenance as ordered by this Court without any default and only a sum of Rs.1,30,000/- towards arrears amount has to be paid by the respondent and the same will be paid within the time stipulated by this Court.
3. Recording the above submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent, this Contempt Petition stands closed with a direction to the respondent/contemnor to pay the balance arrears amount of Rs.1,30,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Thirty Thousand only) in favour of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
