ORDER

The petitioner, who claims to be the husband of the detenue, Nanthini, aged about 28 years, has filed this petition to direct the 3rd respondent to produce the body of his wife, before this Court and set her at liberty forthwith.

2. The so-called detenue, along with her father, are produced before this Court. When we personally enquired the detenue, though she admitted the marriage between herself and the petitioner herein, she expressed her unwillingness, either to talk with the petitioner or to go with him. She also expressed her willingness to go and stay with her parents.

3. In view of the above stated position, the detenue is permitted to go along with her father/3rd respondent. The Habeas Corpus Petition is closed, as no further order is warranted. It goes without saying that it is open to the petitioner to pursue his remedy, if any, before the appropriate forum, in the manner known to law.
