ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.V.Raghavachari, learned senior counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader, for the respondents.

2. The following prayer is made in the writ petition:- "To issue Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct the Kumbabishekam of the Arulmighu Siruvambigai Sameth Sivalokanathar Tirukoil, Thirumundiswaram @ Gramam Village, Ulundurpet Taluk, Villupuram District strictly in accordance with Siva Agama Sastras and to thereby render justice."

3. The learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, makes a statement that Kumbabishekam of Arulmighu Siruvambigai Sameth Sivalokanathar Tirukoil has been conducted in accordance with "Saiva Agama Sastras" and the last such was conducted on

12.02.2020 in accordance with "Saiva Agama Sastras".

4. We accept the statement made by the learned Special Government Pleader.
