O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation in Crime No.05 of 2020 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that there is a substantial progress in the investigation and the final report will be filed very shortly. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the Investigation Officer is waiting for recording the statements of Bank witnesses and also to get the report from them. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the respondent police have progressed with the investigation substantially, no useful purpose will be served in transferring the investigation at this stage.

5.There shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.05 of 2020 and file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order before the concerned Court.

6.This criminal original petition is disposed of with the above direction.
