(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who is arrayed as Accused No.Rank Not Known, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offence punishable under Sections 498A, 294b & 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in Crime No.Not Known of 2021, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that on completion of enquiry on the complaint given by the de facto complainant, the complaint has been closed and further action has also been dropped.
