O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 06.03.2020 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.3455 of 2020, thereby directing the respondent to complete the

investigation in Crime No.705 of 2017 pending on his file and to file a final report within a period of four weeks.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondent completed investigation and filed final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Alandur. However, the same is pending for taking cognizance by the said Court.

Considering the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Alandur, is directed to take cognizance on the final report submitted by the respondent in Crime No.705 of 2017, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
