O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to give permission to conduct music orchestra in the event of Arulmigu Sri Mukki Amman Temple festival which is scheduled to be held on 11.08.2018 situated at Dr.Ambedkar Nagar, Arni, Tiruvannamalai District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2018. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the representation being given to the respondent on 02.08.2018 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 11.08.2018 from 07.00 p.m., the respondent has not passed orders till today. 3.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.

4.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2018 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law on or before 01.00 p.m. on 11.08.2018.

5.The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that he would inform the respondent about the order passed in the Writ Petition over phone immediately.

With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
