Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records relating to the order of the 1st respondent dated 16.4.2002 in Ma.Va.Su.No.13/2002 and quash the same and direct the respondents 2 & 3 to register the educational qualification of the petitioner in the concerned Employment Exchange without production of equivalent certificate.

The prayer sought for in the writ petition is for a issuance of writ certiorarified mandamus to quash the order of first respondent dated 16.4.2002 and also to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to register the educational qualification of the petitioners in the concerned Employment Exchange without production of equivalent certificate. 2.There is no representation for the petitioners. Heard the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents and perused the materials available on record. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that the petitioners 2 and 3 have given a letter stating that they have already got employment and they do not want to proceed with the matter further.

He would further submit that insofar as the petitioners 1, 4 and 5 are concerned, they have studied in the fourth respondent institution, which is recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu and therefore, they are not eligible for registration of the certificates in the Employment Exchange. Further as per the Act, the persons who have qualified B.Ed and M.Ed courses they have to appear for examination and there is no necessity to register the educational qualification certificates in the employment exchange.

4.Therefore, considering the change of circumstances, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
