Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the entire records relating to G.O.(D) No.334 dated 26.10.2007 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same and direct the respondents 1 and 2 to call for applications for appointment of religious and secular Dharmakartas for the 3rd respondent temple.

Challenging the appointment of the respondents 4 and 5 as Secular and Religious Dharmakartas respectively, for the third respondent temple for the two terms, viz.from 17.11.1998 to 12.11.2001 and from 01.08.2002 to 01.08.2005, this writ petition has been filed.

2.When this writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Govt.Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 has submitted that the periods for which the respondents 3 and 4 were appointed itself got over and hence nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication.

3.Recording the above submission the writ petition is dismissed as one having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
