Respondents Writ Petition (Public Interest Litigation) is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to immediately take appropriate measures to prevent the death of wild elephants in the railway lines running between Walayar and Ettimadai.
