Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to settle the retirement benefits with in interest within the time fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for direction to the 1st respondent to settle the retirement benefits with applicable interest.

2. The petitioner was working as Noon Meal Organizer at Government aided Primary School at Vadakkupalayam Village, Srimushnam Panchayat Union. Due to attainment of age of superannuation he retired from his service on 31.05.2021. However, he was not settle with any terminal retirement benefits. Therefore, the petitioner submitted representation and it is pending on the file of the 1st respondent.

3. Therefore, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders to disburse the terminal benefits of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is also made clear that if the retirement benefits shall be disbursed with applicable interest. 2/4

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is stands disposed of. No costs.
