ORDER

The writ petition came up for consideration before this Court as early as on 16.07.2025 and on that date it was brought to the notice of this Court that the sole petitioner is no more. The petitioner died on 02.04.2021, as per the death certificate produced before this Court. Accordingly, the matter was adjourned to take appropriate steps to bring on record the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner. Again, when the matter was taken up for consideration before this Court on 30.07.2025, the same was adjourned at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that inspite of his best efforts, he is unable to contact the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner and hence expressed his inability to take necessary steps.

2. In view of the same, this Court is of the considered view that the writ petition has already abated in view of the death / demise of the sole petitioner. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed as abated. However, the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner are granted liberty to file appropriate application in case if they intends to pursue this writ petition any further. No costs.
