Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 24.01.2021 in D.O.No.01/2022-C2 against the petitioner's son Sakthivel, Male aged 25 years, S/o. Munusamy, who is confined at Central Prison, Salem and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER
S.VAIDYANATHAN, J., A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J., The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in D.O.No.01/2022-C2 dated 24.01.2021, detaining his son as "DRUG OFFENDER" under Section 2(e) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.1369, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 14.03.2022 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
