O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the Respondent in his proceedings Sa.Mu.B.No.7291/C.P.I/2011 dated 29.07.2011 and quash the same and to direct the Respondent to retain the petitioner as a P.G.Assistant (Maths) in the Government Higher Secondary School for Deaf Dharmapuri.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing on 03.01.2024, the learned counsel for the petitioner reported no instructions from the petitioner. Therefore, this Court ordered notice to the petitioner and directed the Registry to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list. Despite petitioner's name is printed in the cause list, there is no representation for the petitioner .

3. The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that in the impugned proceedings in nr.K.e.f.vz;.7291/rp.g-2/2011 dated 11.08.2011, it was stated that, petitioner was transferred from Government Higher Secondary School for Deaf Dharmapuri to Government Teacher Training Institute Poonamalle. At the time of admission of this Writ Petition, stay was 2/4

granted and and the petitioner was allowed to work in the same school. Subsequently, she was promoted as Head Mistress in the Government Higher Secondary School for Deaf Dharmapuri and she is still working there.

4. It is seen that, this Writ Petition was filed in the year 2011, we are in 2024. The fact that petitioner has not chosen to prosecute this Writ Petition shows that,there is nothing survives in this Petition.

5. In the said circumstances, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
