O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by P.VELMURUGAN, J.) This Habeas Corpus petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to produce the petitioner's wife, namely, Savitha, W/o.Narayanamoorthy, aged about 31 years before this Court and to set her at liberty.
2. Pursuant to the directions issued by this Court, the second respondentPolice secured the detenue, Savitha, aged about 31 years, and produced her before this Court today.
3. On enquiry, the detenue stated that due to harassment by her husband (the petitioner herein), she left the matrimonial home on her own volition. She further stated that she is residing separately out of her free will. Since the detenue is a major and there is no material to indicate that she is under illegal detention, this Court finds no reason to entertain this petition.
