(Order of the Court was made by the Acting Chief Justice) Mr.M.K.Subramanian, learned Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2017 to implement the scheme of laying, WBM (BLUE METAL) road from ECR to Iynthu Kann Varapathy Road.

3. The petitioner is an agriculturist. He claims that the village farmers requested Kadampadi Village Panchayat to convert the lands comprised in S.Nos.267, 268 and 269 mentioned as Cart Passage in the Village "A" Register as proper road. The Village Panchayat also passed a resolution to that effect. Ultimately, the respondent authority issued work order. However, till date the said scheme is still pending without any progress. regard, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondent on 7.3.2017, but the same did not evoke any response from the respondent. Hence, the present writ petition.

4. On hearing the learned counsel for the parties, we direct the respondent authority to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 7.3.2017 and do the needful in accordance with law.
