This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the appeal pending in Na.Ka.No.5259 of 2024, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Heard Ms.Abhinaya Shree, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3.The petitioners have challenged the proceedings of the Tahsildar, Perur dated 27.03.2024 before the respondent herein. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to deal with the appeal pending in Na.Ka.No.5259 of 2024 and dispose of the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2/4
