O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioners under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to call for the records in Crime No.79 of 2018 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Mailam Police Station, Villupuram District and quash the proceedings.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the case has been registered against the petitioners in Crime No.79 of 2018 and two unnamed and identifiable persons for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

alleged offence under Sections 147, 323, 363, 506(i) IPC read with section 3(1)(r) and 3(1)(s) of the SC/ST Act based on the false complaint given by the 2nd respondent / defacto complainant.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation has already been completed and the charge sheet has been filed. The cognisance of offence has also taken in S.C.No.48 of 2018.

4.In view of the above submissions, the prayer sought for by the petitioners in this petition has become infructuous. 5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
