ORDER

The petitioner was suspended from service by the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC), pending initiation of disciplinary proceedings. The petitioner, long after the date of suspension, submitted a representation for the purpose of reinstating him in service. Since the said representation, dated 24.10.2013, was not taken up for consideration by the respondent, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. The respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 24.10.2013, on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
