ORDER
The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to disburse the pension and other pensionary benefits to the petitioner with 18% interest.
2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, placing on record, a letter addressed by the respondent on 20.02.2019, submitted that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous since the proposal for the pensionary benefits has been sent to Accountant General by the then Tahsildar on 17.05.2011 and the pension has been sanctioned to the petitioner on 30.06.2011.
3.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous as nothing further survives for adjudication. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
