This Application has been filed to direct the Official Liquidator to take steps to recover the amount lying with the second respondent.
2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the second respondent would submit that presently a sum of Rs.98,61,138.19/- as on 13.06.2024, is available with them which includes the amount that was permitted to be retained by the DRT, Bombay together with the accrued interest out of the sale proceeds after appropriation to the secured creditors together with the interest.
3. In such an event, I am inclined to direct the second respondent to deposit the said amount together with any other accrued interest for the consecutive dates from 13.06.2024 within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
