ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to mutate and issue the revenue records including but not limited to Patta, Chitta and Adangal in respect of vacant agricultural land morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, in favour of the petitioners.
2. The petitioners claim that already the case of the petitioners has been recommended by the respondents 4 and 5. According to them, Page No.2 of 7
despite the recommendations issued by the respondents 4 and 5, the 2nd respondent is yet to pass final orders mutating the revenue records for the subject property in favour of the petitioners. In view of the same, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. The petitioners have filed supporting documents in respect of the petitioners' representation seeking for mutation of revenue records for the subject property and the said supporting documents also contained in the recommendations of the respondents 4 and 5.
5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioners' representation seeking for mutation of the revenue records in favour of the petitioner for the agricultural land morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, after giving due consideration to the recommendations made by the respondents 4 and 5. 6. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' representation.
7. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioners' representation, dated 20.01.2020 seeking for mutation of the revenue records as prayed for in this writ petition for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, in favour of the petitioners, within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving due consideration to the recommendations made by the respondents 4 and 5.
8. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
