O R D E R

The Writ Petition is directed against the impugned Notice dated 18.6.2009 issued by the 2nd respondent, thereby demanding the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.21,948/- towards arrears of Licence Fee for Shop No.2, Bank Complex, Hosur for the period from 2006-2007 to 2007-2008 along with interest at 18% p.a. 2.

When the matter came up before this Court on 11.9.2009, interim stay which was granted already on 04.08.2009 was ordered to be made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pays 1/3rd of the arrears amount.

Now it is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that as per the direction given by this Court dated 11.9.2009, the petitioner has paid the 1/3rd of the arrears amount and subsequently, the balance amount was also paid and as on today, there is no arrears of amount to be paid by the petitioner.

Mr.N.Subbarayalu, learned Counsel for the 2nd respondent submitted that the petitioner has paid the entire arrears amount as per the demand notice dated 18.06.2009 for the period from 2006-2007 to 2007-2008 and since he has paid the entire arrears amount, the petitioner was also allowed to continue in the same shop. Therefore, nothing survives in the Writ Petition.

Recording the same, the Writ Petition is closed as infructuous. It is needless to mention that if there is any default in making the regular fee, it is open to the respondents to take appropriate action against the petitioner in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
