Respondents Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to sub-divide the petitioner's land situate in Sembodai Village, Vedaranyam Taluk, Nagapattinam District, comprised in Survey No. 85 part, in an extent of 1.19.00 hectare equaling 2.94 Acres purchased by them as per the Sale Deeds in Doc.No.254 of 1989 dated 07.12.1988 and in Doc.Nos.510, 511 and 512 all dated 06.04.1993, on the file of the Sub-Registrar Office, Vedaranyam and also directing the second respondent, on completion of such sub-division, to issue the fresh patta in the name of the petitioners pertaining to their aforesaid land in lieu of the joint Patta No.1064 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2021 sent through online to the second respondent. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to sub-divide the petitioner's land situated in Sembodai Village, Vedaranyam Taluk, Nagapattinam District, comprised in Survey No. 85 part, in an extent of 1.19.00 hectare equaling 2.94 Acres purchased by them as per the Sale Deeds in Document No.254 of 1989 dated 07.12.1988 and in Document Nos.510, 511 and 512 all dated 06.04.1993, on the file of the Sub-Registrar Office, Vedaranyam and also directing the second respondent, on completion of such sub-division, to issue the fresh patta in the name of the petitioners pertaining to their aforesaid land in lieu of the joint Patta No.1064 by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 18.02.2021 sent through online to the second respondent.

Heard Mr.D.Vairamoorthy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.S.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.02.2021, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the counter parties if any and after giving them an opportunity of hearing, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
