This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 06.05.2024, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for the removal of the names of respondents 4 to 6 from the revenue records.

2.Heard Mr.P.Arumugavel, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to3.

3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance expressed by the petitioner and also considering the fact that the appeal filed by the petitioner is pending before the 2nd respondent, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 06.05.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording 2/4

opportunity to respondents 4 to 7 and final orders shall be passed, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
