This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.35 of 2015 dated 04.11.2015 pending investigation on the file of the respondent police.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in respect of Crime No.35 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent, charge sheet has been filed in CC.No.436 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam, and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

hence the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

In view of the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
