This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 20.09.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for transfer of patta in his name based on the registered Sale Deed dated 23.11.2022.

Heard Mr.M.Jai Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Special Government Pleader for Respondents 1 and 2.

The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was purchased by him through a Sale deed dated 23.11.2022 ,which was registered as document No.4943/2022. Thereafter, the petitioner applied for transfer of patta in his name. A representation was given in this regard. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh on-line application to the 2nd 2/4

respondent along with necessary particulars and payment of necessary fees and on receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent shall issue the patta, if the claim is otherwise in order and this process shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If on the alternative, such on-line facility is not available in that area, it is left open to the petitioner to submit fresh manual application to the 2nd respondent along with all the necessary documents and payment of necessary fees. 5.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
