This Contempt petition is filed to punish the respondents for noncompliance of the order dated 06.12.2006 passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.34761 of 2005.

2. Heard the learned counsel on both sides.

3. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents submitted that the orders passed by this Court on 06.12.2006 has been complied with by the respondents vide G.O.Ms.No.157, Higher Education (C2) Department, dated 26.08.2022. In regard to the payment of arrears, the learned Additional Advocate General submitted that the same will be settled/paid to the petitioners within a period of two weeks.
