This contempt petition has been filed against the noncompliance of the order and direction issued by this Court in W.P.No.39856 of 2015, dated 17.12.2015.
2. It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that a part of the retirement benefits have not been paid. Pending the contempt petition, the petitioner has given a representation, dated 10.05.2018, but so far, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ no steps have been taken by the respondent.
3. Per contra, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent submitted that as per the direction of this Court dated 17.12.2015 in W.P.No.39856 of 2015, the entire terminal benefits have already been paid to the petitioner. However, the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.05.2018 would be considered in accordance with law.
4. In the light of the above submissions, this contempt application is closed and this Court directs the respondent-the General Manager, Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Villupuram) Limited, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.05.2018 and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
