Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the re-investigation of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 26.08.2015 by another Inspector of Police, under the supervision of the Assistant Commissioner of Police and file the FIR at an early date.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct re-investigation of the petitioner's complaint dated 26.08.2015.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has sought for reinvestigation of his complaint dated 26.08.2015. Now, almost three years have lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
