the services of the petitioners and bring them into the regular scale of pay with effect from the date of completion of 3 years of service i.e., from 06.10.2001 as per the G.O.Ms.No.71 (Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department) dated 05.05.1998 with all consequential monetary and service benefits, in the light of the order made by this Court in Rev.Appl.No.254 of 2015 in W.P.(MD).No.1083 of 2012 dated 30.05.2017 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

Mr.K.A.Mariappan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the respondents have regularised the services of the petitioners vide Letter in Na.Ka.No.2166/2023/H-1 dated 12.08.2024 and hence, he seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the case. He also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
