Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse terminal benefits of petitioner's husband and grant compassionate appointment to the petitioner based on the representation dated 19.11.2018 for a suitable post for the death of petitioner's husband Karthikeyan son of Balasundaram who died on 03.10.2018 forthwith.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the husband of the petitioner, worked as Salesman in the 3rd respondent Society and suddenly died on 03.10.2018. Thereafter, the petitioner has submitted the representation, dated 19.11.2018 to the 2nd respondent, seeking terminal benefits due to her deceased husband and also for compassionate appointment in the office of the 3rd respondent, but the same was not considered. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking appropriate relief. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. Ms.T. Girija, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.11.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass orders after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
