O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to issue patta to the petitioner for the property situated at Plot No.185, measuring an extent of 157.50 sq.mt., (1695 sq.ft.,) CMDA in the approved layout vide No.P.P.D./L.O.No.26/2010, and annexed hereto comprised, as per Patta No.3311, in Old Survey No.155/2 part and Survey No.155/2B1 situated at Padianallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District.

The petitioner in respect of a land situated at Old Survey No.155/2 part and Survey No.155/2B1 situated at Padianallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District has given an application on 25.11.2022 to the respondents especially the 2nd respondent for issuance of sub division patta and the same since has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.

3. Heard Ms.M.Kokila, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.N.Senthil Selvi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned Government Advocate would submit that, the said application of the petitioner would be considered by the 2nd respondent and orders would be passed thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders:

There shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 25.11.2022 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
