Application No.2109 of 2016 in C.S.No.314 of 1930 M.JAICHANDREN,J., This application has been filed by the applicant, seeking a direction to the respondent-Official Trustee of Tamil Nadu to enhance the Zulkaida Allowance, from Rs.3,000/-, per annum, to Rs.8,810/- [Rupees eight thousand eight hundred and ten only], per annum, to the applicant, for celebrating Zulkaida , every year.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant, as well as the Official Trustee.

The learned Official Trustee had submitted in his report that this Court had enhanced the Zulkaida Allowance payable to the applicant to celebrate the Zulkaida, every year, earlier, vide order of this Court, in A.No.4618 of 2013, dated 25.10.2013. He had further submitted that the rental and lease income are the only sources of income to the Trust and on consideration of the prevailing market prices of commodities and the funds position of the trust an enhancement to the tune of Rs.5,000/-, per annum, would be reasonable.

4. This Court has perused the report submitted by the Official Trustee of Tamil Nadu.

5. In view of the report submitted by the Official Trustee of Tamil Nadu and considering the submissions made on either side, this Court is inclined to enhance the Zulkaida Allowance payable to the applicant, by the Official
