PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., to transfer the FIR pending in Crime No.350 of 2018, dated 06.06.2018 from the file of the respondent Police to any other Police station for investigation.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation in Crime No.350 of 2018, dated 06.06.2018 from the file of the respondent Police to any other Police station.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is doing fruit business along with one Kasi, Muthu and Elumalai. On 06.06.2018, the petitioner went to Koyembedu and afternoon he came to his house, he found that the locker was broken and 15 sovereign jewels and Rs.7 1⁄2 lakhs kept as saving for his marriage were stolen by someone. Thereafter, the petitioner had given a complaint against the above said Kasi, which was registered as FIR in Crime No.350 of 2018 on 06.06.2018 on the file of the respondent Police. He further submits that the petitioner specifically mentioned about the said Kasi, but the respondent Police let out him. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition for transfer of the case to any other police station.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that the said Kasi was admitted in the Royapetah Hospital, Chennai for due illness. He further submits https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that the case is under investigation, and the same will be completed in accordance with law.

4. In view of the serious allegations made in the FIR, the Assistant Commissioner of Madipakkam is directed to monitor the investigation in Crime No.350 of 2018 and the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
