ORDER

Mr.N.Nithiyanandam, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner Management submits that this matter is connected to a large number of other matters totaling in about 250 matters. This matter was referred to Lok Adalat which was conducted at Puducherry in the year 2004 and this matter which relates to the payment of gratuity, settled in the Lok Adalat.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner also produces the notice of payment of gratuity pursuant to the Lok Adalat Award in respect of workmen. The said notices issued and also the respective forms in respect of this writ petition is taken on record. The registry is directed to reconstruct the bundle only on the said basis.

3. The fact that it is already settled between the parties is recorded and it is only an error that this case which is settled in the Lok Adalat are not appropriately noted and the case is said to be pending is recorded.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is ordered to be closed. No costs. 2/3
