O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to restore the portion earmarked as park in Survey No.678, Srivallimurugan Nagar, Erode.

2. The present writ petition was filed in the year 2008 and 15 years have lapsed.

3. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that OSR lands are allotted in favour of some other persons in violation of the Rules in force .

4. On account of efflux of time, the second respondent-District Collector shall verify the present status of the subject land and if there is any violations are identified, then appropriate actions are to be taken by following the procedures as contemplated under law.
