O R D E R

The selection list of the year September 2006, for recruitment to the post of Secondary Grade Teacher is sought to be quashed in the present writ petition.

2. The writ petitioner was an unsuccessful candidate questioning the validity of the selection list issued by the Authorities in September 2006. This Court is of an opinion that, the procedure of selection for appointment to the post of Secondary Grade Teacher underwent many changes and even at the time of filing of writ petition, the writ petitioner was aged about 30 years and now he would be around 43 years.

3. This being the factum of the case, no useful purpose would be served in the event of adjudicating this writ petition on merits and it is left open to the writ petitioner to participate in the selection process if he is otherwise eligible for any post in public services.

4. With these observations, the writ petition stands closed. No Costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
