This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.83 of 2018 dated 21.03.2018 pending on the file of the first respondent-Police.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that on completion of investigation in Crime No.83 of 2018, charge-sheet was filed through efiling on 30.12.2024 vide e-filing No. LTN-202401206 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vaniyambadi.

3. Since the first respondent-Police has completed the investigation and filed the charge-sheet before the learned Magistrate concerned, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. The petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedy in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
