This is the appeal filed by the accused against the judgment of conviction and sentence passed by the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore in S.C.No.69 of 2022 dated 29.04.2024. The present miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking condonation of delay of 525 days in filing the appeal. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent would submit that the appellant/accused is in incarceration. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this miscellaneous petition, the delay of 525 days in filing this appeal is condoned.
