Crl.O.P.Nos.2436 amd 2439 of 2024 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN , J.

The petitioners/A5 and A8 who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 2(16), 2(35), 9 and 51 of the Wild Life Protection Act, 1972 in Crime No.2 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner/A5 has filed Crl.O.P. No.2436 of 2024 and the petitioner/A8 has filed Crl. O.P No.2439 of 2024. On the basis of confession given by A2, A3 and A4, the present petitioners had been implicated in this case as accused.

3. It is stated that the earlier two applications filed by these petitioners were dismissed on 10.01.2024. It is further stated that after that particular date, the petitioners have been involved in yet another similar case registered as Wife Life Cr. No.1 of 2024 on 25.01.2024. Thus, it is evident that the petitioners are repeatedly involving themselves in indulging in similar kind of offences.

4. Therefore, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
