2. Heard, the learned counsel for the petitioners, and the Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioners submitted representations for issuance of patta in respect of the property situated at Thirumalai Nagar, Morai Village and the same are pending till date. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondent to cosider the said representations and pass appropriate orders on merits within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the same, the respondent is directed to pass orders on the representation dated 25.07.2011 submitted by the petitioners after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and the counter parties, if any, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petitions are disposed of. No order as to costs.
