ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to give domestic electricity connection to the house of the petitioner located in No.2/14-II, Anna Page No.1 of 4

Nagar, Koothampoondi, Trichengode Taluk, Namakkal District.

2. The case of the petitioner is that vide application, dated 11.10.2022, she applied for electricity service connection for the property in No.2/14-II, Anna Nagar, Koothampoondi, Trichengode Taluk, Namakkal District Thirugnanam, before the respondent along with all necessary documents. Since the same was not considered by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner's application will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed as expeditiously as possible, if the petitioner establishes her title and other requirements.

4. In the light of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent, this Writ Petition is closed, directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 11.10.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of Page No.2 of 4

this order. No costs.
